The Price, Hargett, Petho & Anderson Scholarship Essay Contest

The personal injury and wrongful death law firm of Price, Hargett, Petho & Anderson is please to announce our annual Scholarship Essay Contest. Students who will be attending a college or university in 2018 as an undergraduate or law student in the United States are eligible to apply.

Scholarship Awards:

Two (2) scholarships of $ 1,000 each will be awarded annually, with one scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student and one scholarship awarded to a law school student.

Who Can Apply:

Any current high school senior, undergraduate, or law student who will be attending an accredited college, university or law school in 2018 in the United States is eligible for the Price, Hargett, Petho & Anderson Scholarship.

How To Apply:

Scholarship applicants are required to do the following:

  1. Fill out a biographical information form.
  2. Write an essay on access to legal services in the United States. This essay should focus on the need and affordability of legal services and propose ideas to help meet the demand of these services. The essay should be at least 1,000 words long.
  3. Email your information form and essay to The subject line of your email must include the words “Price, Hargett, Petho & Anderson Scholarship Essay Application.”
Submission Deadline:

Your materials for the scholarship must be received by December 15, 2017 to be considered. The winners of the scholarships will be announced on or before January 15, 2018.
